Affiliate Disclosure
Vanguard Hub is paid to place a link. This page explains who pays, for what, how much of the site it affects, and what it does not buy. It is deliberately specific, because a disclosure that is vague is not a disclosure.
The arrangement in four sentences
Some links on this site lead to Enlisted, a game published by a third party. Those links are paid: an advertising network compensates CHONSU s.r.o. with a commission when a reader registers an account after following one of them. You are never charged anything extra for arriving through this site, and the vendor’s terms are the same as they would be if you typed the address yourself. Commission does not decide what any page on this site says.
Who pays, and for what
The payment comes from an advertising network that runs campaigns on behalf of advertisers, not directly from the game’s publisher. The publisher of this site, CHONSU s.r.o., participates in that network as an affiliate. The commission is payable on a specific action — a reader following the link, registering an account, confirming the email address and launching the game — rather than on a click or a page view.
Three things follow from that, and they are worth stating plainly.
- We are paid on registrations, not on visits. Reading this site costs us nothing and earns us nothing.
- We do not know who you are. The network tells us how many registrations occurred, not who made them. This site itself identifies nobody, sets no cookies and runs no tracking; see the privacy policy.
- We are not the vendor’s agent. An affiliate relationship is an advertising arrangement. It does not make us a partner, reseller, representative or authorised source, and we cannot act on the vendor’s behalf in any matter concerning your account.
What it costs you
Nothing. The commission is paid by the advertising network out of the advertiser’s marketing budget. It is not added to a price, it does not alter any offer made to you, and it does not change what the vendor provides or under what terms. If you would rather not use the link, going directly to the vendor’s own site produces exactly the same result for you and no payment to us.

We will not pretend the funding is invisible. A site paid by one advertiser covers that advertiser’s product, and the coverage here is narrow for exactly that reason. What we can commit to is the second column: the technical content is not written to suit the advertiser, no claim is made about the product that the vendor has not made itself, and nothing on this site is dressed up as an independent review, a test result or a recommendation from a third party. There are no ratings here, no scores, no testimonials and no comparisons, in part because a funded site is not in a position to make them credibly.
Where the disclosure appears
In three places, by design.
- On the homepage, in a box in the upper part of the page, above the first paid link and in ordinary body text rather than in small print.
- Next to every paid link, wherever one appears on this site, in a line immediately adjacent to it and before the link itself.
- Here, on this dedicated page, which is linked from the footer of every page on the site.
The paid links themselves are marked in the page’s HTML as sponsored links, and they open the vendor’s destination address directly. There is no redirect on this domain, no link cloaking, no script that changes where a link goes when you click it, and no interstitial page between you and the destination. You can hover over any link on this site and read in your browser’s status bar exactly where it goes.
The product covered
Enlisted is an online multiplayer first-person shooter set in the Second World War, published by a third party at enlisted.net. The registration the paid link leads to is for desktop computers only — Windows, macOS and Linux — and consists of creating an account, confirming an email address, and signing in to launch the game.
This site is not the official site for that game, is not operated by or with its publisher, and does not speak for it. Enlisted and all other product names, logos and brands mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners. Vanguard Hub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.
The link below is the paid link this whole page describes. Following it and registering earns CHONSU s.r.o. a commission from the advertising network, and costs you nothing.
The legal side
Under the Australian Consumer Law, conduct in trade or commerce that is misleading or deceptive, or likely to mislead or deceive, is prohibited, and that obligation falls on a publisher as well as on an advertiser. An undisclosed paid endorsement is one of the clearer ways to fall foul of it. The ACCC administers the Australian Consumer Law and publishes guidance for consumers and businesses at accc.gov.au.
That is the reason this page exists in this form. Disclosure here is not a courtesy, and it is not confined to a line of grey text at the bottom of a page.
